Last weekend Connex Solutions carried out a critical shutdown, to complete upgrades to aging electrical equipment and infrastructure, on a key government asset. After 12 months of careful planning, multiple meetings with Stakeholders and User Groups, then a lot of hard work the site now has been future proofed for decades to come.
– Installation of new underground conduits and pits
– Installation of new XLPE sub-mains
– Install of new 630A Main DB
– Install of new Fire rated XLPE sub-mains to all essential risers on Fire rated cable trays
– Install of new 150kVA Genset and remote fill station
– Install of new 250A Automatic Transfer Switch
On the weekend 5 seperate buildings were shutdown, in a staged procedure to complete these works. Temporary Generators were used to make sure critical equipment was kept running at all times. A massive thanks to everyone who was involved, you can all relax now.
